He really didn’t at all. For all his bluster and ego the man was right. He wasn’t conceited he was convinced. He was 100 times the performer, innovator, showman, artist, musician, and PERSON than 99% the people that got all the clout.

Man never got the respect he deserved tbh. He came up in the same time as Elvis and always took offense to people calling Elvis the King of Rock and Roll. In Little Richard's mind he was the King and it wasn't even close.
