If you look up 'largest social housing complex in the world' Queensbridge Houses do come up on top, yet I'm familiar with a public housing complex built in the 70's in my hometown in Argentina that has 7958 units and an estimated population of around 50,000, so far larger than Queensbridge. And that's just my hometown. I'm pretty sure there are even larger housing developments in Eastern Europe and Asia.
