Yes.... She's in the show. They reference it.

She guest starred on the show, but writing the song wasn't part of her story line or anything. I'm a huge Friends fan and I didn't know she wrote it.

In the episode phoebe literally is mad because her friend stole the song phoebe wrote, then the friend chooses PHOEBES new song, over phoebe, again, when offered.

2000 miles is one of my favourite Christmas songs. I find it quite sentimental and moving. Sadly when I recommend it to people they usually think I'm referring to that song by The Proclaimers.

It’s hypnotizing and I listen to it dozens of times during the season. Very interesting story behind it.

Sorry. Their guitarist passed away super young and the song is a bit of a reflection and tribute/memory to him. It’s her singing about missing him, thinking about him everyday and how he’s very far away, being dead. I think he was early 20’s when he died.

Phoebe was a pretender every time she talked about writing it

She's also desperate to talk about your dog if you see her in the street. True story.

Wow, first duets with Tony Bennett and now Lisa Kudrow. Who's next.

Talk about having money to burn, bringing in a famous rock star to co-write the melody for that.

Dumb song, stupid show.

I prefer to think of Chrissie as one of the all time great songwriters, and will remember her more for Talk of the Town.
