Way back in 2003 I served in a Patriot missile battalion in Jordan. The equipment and vehicles were shipped back to the US through Aqaba. Can’t believe that was 20 years ago

It's pretty common for scuba diving destinations to build artificial reefs of various sorts.
Sunken ships or sculptures are more common for reefs trying to attract divers, but the Aqaba "tank reef" is famous because of those military vehicles.

Million Dollar Point on the island of Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu. Fun dive spot, but the wreck of the President Coolidge a bit further down the channel is the main draw.

Off the North West Coast of Ireland there is a big shipwreck of a US transport ship sunk by a U-boat during WW2. Because of this there are just a bunch of sherman tanks sitting on the Atlantic Ocean floor. There's some pretty cool pictures on google of them.
