I mean, is this supposed to be a shocking fact? Anyone that’s looked at a map before can see Europe is further north than most of North America. What’s the fun fact here?

I guess people just assume Canada = the north. Technically true but 90% of the Canadian population lives within 100 miles of the US border, and south of the 50th parallel.
