Except one has the world’s tallest mountain and the other one has virtually zero mountains. Ohio having a mountain really depends on how inclusive you are of large hills.

The USGS defined a mountain as any landform that rises 1000ft or more above the surrounding area. Ohio's most prominent (and highest) point is 1549ft above sea level (43rd highest overall) but is only 639ft above the surrounding area. It is also 1094ft above the lowest point (the Ohio River at the tri-boundary of Indiana and Kentucky).
