You got my upvote for the sweet note to your mom! Kids can be cruel. It’s so painful to feel distant from what other kids seem to just take for granted. Hang in there! Before you know it your school days will be behind you and you can do anything you want to. Don’t let the little people get you down!

Also, take those shoes back to the thrift store and get your money back!!!

Can’t usually get your money back at goodwill or other thrift stores. They’re secondhand items sold as-is, no guarantees. Might be able to use store credit if you actually return something, don’t think that works for busted knockoffs
