Gonna guess you mean an emergency blanket like this. Would add a compass and a map though.

Not exactly that but yes he does have some sort of emergency blanket. And a flint and steel, and I don't even know what else. We have never really needed any of it except one time it rained and he was so excited to bust out his high priced parka.
