IF YOU ARE FEMALE:

I'm sure there won't be consequences.

Some people may now know you have a crush on said colleague but that's it I imagine. We can't help who we have a crush on.

IF YOU ARE MALE

I dunno dude, just hope it goes away I guess. I imagine the worst thing that could happen is your boss or HR has a quiet word and tells you to stop doing it.

It's so messed up how that works. A friend of mine was sexually harassed multiple times from the same person at his work and his HR manager told him that she doesn't investigate female on male harassment.

I can't imagine you would get in trouble but please stop doing this. It is creepy and unnecessary even if they did reciprocate your feelings which by your admission they do not. If you were doing this in an person meeting just awkwardly staring at someone across the room you would be called out and potentially punished for harassment. Find a new crush that likes you the way you like them and only creep on them when they feel the same way.

Hindsight and all that, but what you should have done is unpinned the crush and “accidentally” pin a couple others. Just have them be one of many and than blame it on your mouse acting up or something.

Hey OP. Do ALL of your coworkers a favor and stop being a fucking creep.

Lean into this “mistake”. Next time, pun someone else randomly. Then instead of being creepy, it will look like you just aren’t competent with Zoom, and instead of getting investigated for sexual harassment, you will get training

I couldn't figure out wtf NB stands for for the longest time.. I could care less how one chooses to identify as but at the same time can't imagine how many more new terms we will need to get acquainted to at this rate. Call me old school or ignorant but this concept of overly complicated self identity is getting wild.
