Now you have a good conversation piece! You tried so hard at the most difficult climbing route you've ever attempted that you ripped off the skin from portions of your hand. Maybe Steve might find it cool.

Now you're absolutely right to not do something to impress a dude, but trying and failing to tackle a new wall is admirable. GL!

alr just a quick tip. I know pretty much no man turned on by an athletic feat of a women. They do of graceful or aesthetically pleasing ones tho

Former climber of many years, who always preferred a ridiculous tough indoor Boulder climb compared to any outdoor leading.

Don't let this bring you down. Just be like "Instead of filming a climb, how about you join me sometime?". Works wonders. Fun fact: most new climbers find any boulder/route you climb impressive.

Ya from my experience flappers are just a part of having calluses built up from climbing loads!

It took me months to get my first one, not that that's any amount of time to become experienced

Flappers don't mean you're experienced by any stretch but they certainly don't just happen to new climbers.

As an amateur rock climber, you seem very badass in your video. I'm impressed you're trying a hanging route, period. Like other people have suggested, bring Steve with you! It'll be a great bonding experience.
