This is your TIFU community manager bringing you wonderful news that is certain to leave you feeling all sorts of things, most of them positive.

As some of you may have noticed we have been running a small trial today, a beta of a feature that we had planned to go live tomorrow.
​
It turns out that our new "Community Enhancement Protocol" has been a massive success!!
​
We have seen so many people chasing that updoot, making all sorts of wonderful discoveries and finding novel, new ways to participate despite being below tresholds. We've seen numb3rs replacing letters, we've seen people hieroglyphically use emojies and we have seen images and gifs in comments bringing a synergistic, emergent quality to the comment section of this subreddit that we believe even rivals the great Rabbit Unfuckening on Usenet of the 1990's. Talk about making history!

As you can see at first our willing participant was hesitant to adapt to the new circumstance but at the end of that there they had learned to adapt, overcome and emojify.
​
10/ 10, we were very happy to see that.
​
Therefore! We have decided to roll out our new feature (working title) "April 2023" ahead of schedule and we have made the exciting new change to increase the participation treshold by a factor of ten!!!
​
If you feel a bit sad, a tad deflated that you cannot participate yet in many ways until you've gotten more upsnoos, fret not dear TIFUnaut!
