I (30F) purchased chocolates for my daughter’s class last night and thought I needed to hide them so my husband (38M) won’t eat them. I found a great spot up high in the pantry - believing the mantra ‘out of sight out of mind’.
Today they were gone. I was hopeful in thinking that maybe he had put them in her backpack or his car in anticipation for Monday.
I was sorely mistaken.
When I asked him where they went, he said they were right in front of his face when he opened the pantry that he thought I had purposely put them up there for him and ate them all.
For reference; I am 5’4 and he is 6’3.
Now I know to hide low if I want any treats to avoid his glaze
TL;DR: husband ate my daughter’s school chocolates because I put them right in front of his face

TL;DR: You husband ate the chocolate because you didn’t tell him what they were for and he has no self-control.
