Luckily I'm not on the lease yet here, and plan to keep it that way until I find another place. Big boy checks start rolling out at my job in a couple weeks and I'm lighting that money on fire if I have to so I can escape this suburban nightmare.

Yeah move out while he is passed out, and he'll forget you were even there. As for his gf, if she's hot, at least try to hit it once. Lol

One of these types set my kitchen on fire while I slept. Get out.

Literally my current fear right now. I also have a large dog too and I don't feel safe leaving him here alone with my roommates due to their lack of basic responsible behavior.

Had a down on his luck co-worker who needed to find a place, and an empty room in the house I was renting a room in. That dumb drunk sleep walking and pissing in my fucking fridge was the last bit of civil interaction we had. Maybe if he hadn't pissed in the kitchen and the hall and the bathroom wall as well but fuuuuck

Years ago I was told the easiest way to lose a good friend is to move in with them. It's absolutely true.
I had a very good friend that convinced me to abandon my comfortable one bedroom and co-lease a two bedroom. "We'll split expenses that way!" One month later he wasn't paying the half of rent, and buying food was a joke. At the end of the month he would approach with "I'm giving you $300" which wasn't close to even half the rent. He was spending over half in income on pot and even a lot of that was financed through payday loans. He wouldn't do even the most basic household chores like taking the trash out or washing dishes he soiled although he was home all day and I worked 6 days a week.
I had to kick him out. "Two can't live cheaper than one" isn't true, unless they both contribute.

Jesus...you've got more restraint than me, if I caught my roomie pissin in the fridge he is getting a five finger discount on sleep that night.

Most likely going to spend a loooooot of time at my girlfriends apartment nearby while searching, I may have to let her keep the dog for a while if things get worse.
