Sheltered? No it’s called having good parents and good friends who didn’t want to do stupid shit. Assuming you are an adult if you think that not drinking as a teen means your sheltered says it all and the cycle continues if you have kids I guess but fyi kids shouldn’t drink.

It goes without saying that kids should not drink, but you were 100% sheltered if you think other teens didn't drink in the 90s. I was a teen in the 90s and was in the minority of those not drinking.

First of all I really think the minority were non drinkers, but this discussion really matters on social class in an area and many other factors to really be discussed. Since were both in our 40s you should probably know you are using the world sheltered wrong, it makes no sense. If you would like to say anything slightly insulting I’d use the word naive.
