Netflix gets a lot of hate for there being a low percentage of good shows on the platform, and it makes sense. However, one should not overlook the reality that Netflix still has a large number of good shows. The bad shows outnumber the good, but the good is still there.

The sheer volume of content means they have more bad shows, but the amount of time they’ve been around combined with how much they put out, id be willing to bet they have more good shows than any other platform. Not necessarily better shows than say, HBO, but if someone were somehow new to Netflix content they would have so many good things to watch.

They make stuff for literally everyone, so the stuff they make for the lowest common denominator is gonna be trash. Also, I don’t want to hear about how “Netflix didnt make that, they just distribute it” nonsense when talking about a specific show. Arcane is only available on Netflix. Therefore I am subscribed to Netflix.
