Just a warning that the 2 later versions just didn't capture the brilliance of the original though the last one did finish up the story where the original got cut short so it may be worth checking it out.

Yea I was always wondering is the 2016 one a sequel or a remake because the og anime is only the golden age arc right and only half the story

The 2016 is a full remake but it continues the story to include The Eclipse which the original never got to because it was cancelled.

Have you seen Breaking Bad, or The Americans? The two most satisfying TV shows I've ever seen. The Sopranos and The Wire are up there, too. You've seen The Sopranos, so you've got some great TV ahead of you.

I prefer the mangas for Berserk and Vinland Saga, but the latter was animated way better than I anticipated
