Especially after the third time that a main character is involved in a lengthy hand to hand fight that ends with them using something like a shower curtain to strangle someone to death. I swear that happened 3 times in the first 2 seasons. Just the sheer amount of gunplay was absurd as well.

The level of violence in Django Unchained (or any other Tarantino movie)? Fine, sometimes too much but he doesn't push it for long and I appreciate that. GOL is just too much for too long and too often.

Bailed out of it right after >!the Kurdish woman killed a bunch of dudes and -- of course -- finished off the last guy by strangling him with a curtain!<.

Haven't seen the show yet, but I'm guessing you are getting downvoted because you have untagged spoilers in your text and it is considered a pretty good show which means it has a lot of fans.

I mean the entire point of the show is to be a The Raid-style action thing. The crime plots and character development are all in service of setting up elaborate action sequences.

If that’s not what you want, it’s not the show for you.

Yeah I did the first season but I just don't think it's very good. At all. Really liked The Raid films and looking forward to Havoc, so a fan of Evans, but this missed the mark. It was just...silly.
