Isaiah Washington got the boot from GREY'S ANATOMY because of the gay slur drama. Shonda Rimes tried to save him but he chose to make it worse by bringing it up at the Golden Globes.
Not fired per se but Shelley Long didn't get along with anyone on CHEERS so it made her decision to quit the show after 5 seasons much easier.
