The Expanse is wonderful, just takes a few episodes to get into it.

Bojack horseman is another wonderful show. I think it being animated turned a lot of people off but it's well worth a watch. Just be prepared for emotions.

Dark on Netflix is great. 3 seasons, a growing continuous story arc.

The Wire. Entourage, all the great old HBO shows. CBS had The Unit , special forces series with good cast.
