I had the same idea! Mainly because the last two seasons would be devastating and dramatic, with the Mayerling Hall tragedy and then Franz Ferdinand’s assassination escalating into the Great War.

Yeah when I watched it was halfway decent, but a lot of altering history it felt like. I'd have to check the dates the show is supposed to be covering but in reality she was also almost immediately pregnant after her marriage.
Will be interesting what they touch on in season two. She may of been loved but boy is she a prime example of why therapy for body image issues is important.

I have absolutely no proof of this, but I thought of the idea for a The Crown-style show about Franz Joseph of Austria in January.
I only told 2 or 3 people and this is slightly different, but I don’t care. Netflix stole my idea.
