I proper love this show but ever since the proper downer ending of episode 8, it doesn't seem to have come back. That can't have been the season finale! Definitely didn't get those vibes.

That was over a month ago now (October 25), so what's happening with it?

Love the show and 8 episodes with a downer ending seems like an odd way to wrap up the first season.

They didn't have Enzo or Megabyte, that's the problem.

I imagine having such an expensive cast meant they had to cut back on the number of episodes.

It was a decent ending, but maybe not as exciting as you are used to. It showed the passing of an era, or the passing of the torch from the father to his daughter.

The season's over. Yeah, the ending felt off. I didn't realize it was the end till a week or two later.

I’d be surprised if Reboot got renewed as it never followed through on its own premise. ‘A 90’s show is rebooted into a darker version without the Hallmark-iness or Full House-ish.’

We never actually see if it follows through, the cast isn’t very funny or likeable, the only good thing is the outdated writer’s room which is supposedly what they are trying to get away from, and to sum it all up; it’s not funny.

To quote/paraphrase Chevy Chase from Community, ‘There’s gay people in it.’

Like in real life the initial pitch got meddled with until all left is the reveal at the end of the pilot. (I liked how meta that got.) It's a fun show and I liked it a lot.

I'm not sure if you thought you were watching the show within the show but I got the exact opposite experience from you. The cast is great. Who doesn't like Judy Grier? Key? Johnny Knoxville? Paul Reiser??? Like maybe Rachel Bloom isn't your jam but the others are all known for being really funny and likeable. And I'm not sure what you think they don't "follow through" on, the point is that the network meddles with the premise to reboot it and just makes the same thing over again.

I thought it was a strong finale that could work as series finale but perfect as a season finale.
