OK, bear with me here. I think the technology has reached a point where this could happen.

The ghosts of Bobby and Latka, digitally recreated, are haunting the garage. Some young cabbie is about to ruin their life. The two ghosts cause him to cross paths with everyone from the old crew to help set them straight.

Louie has become an agent and producer and was successful in Hollywood, Banta became a teacher, Alex owns an antique shop. Nardo became an author. Iggy became an inventor.

Can anyone else see the beauty in this? ^(If this ever happens, I don't want any money, just a day on the set.)

Dude you had me at TAXI and then you had me again at MARIJUANA. Taxi is so goddamn criminally underrated/passed over and it truly holds up as one of the best from this time period and team. I've been going through the DVD set and just always loved this show, which I first watched in reruns when I was a kid. Everyone is great, but in particular DeVito really had some great storylines. If you ever want to smoke a fat bowl and watch this shit in south Florida, hit me up lol. I enjoy your Taxi-future

And Reverend Jim can just sit there being Jim.

(I loved Rev Jim so much, I'd pay money to watch Christopher Lloyd riff as Reverend Jim once again!)

That's perfect. None of the futures you propose match up with anything we knew about the characters. They would be as surprised as we are, about where they ended up. That seems appropriate for Taxi.

What I was thinking is that the actors themselves have done those things.

Judd Hirsch - Antiques shop owner in tv show 'Forever'

Tony Danza - Had a reality show where he taught

Danny Devito - Was an actor/producer in the movie 'Get Shorty' (It could also work where he owns a bar and you get the Always Gang as a cameo)

Marilu Henner - Has written a bunch of books

Christopher Lloyd - Doc Brown, inventor

Okay, you are really good at this.

I'd watch the reboot, and enjoy it. On IMDB or here, I'd read that bit of trivia, and be amazed.

That's next level shit right there. Has there ever been a show where the primary characters are based on other stuff they've done?

As a kid with a Taxi lunchbox in the completely wrong era, I’ll upvote this.
