Everyone knows they pretty wrapped up the House storyline with Chase becoming the new House and Foreman becoming the new Cuddy, but TV shows regularly had spin offs. I think it would've been interesting if they turned House into more of a hard procedural with Chase doing more practical medical investigations and solutions. What do you think?

Not really because House had gone on for far too long by the time it ended.

I wish House had ended right before Cuddy broke up with House, as that wouldn’t have happened if Lisa Edelstein hadn’t left after season 6. Kinda sucks that by the end of the series, you don’t really see too much growth from House as a character. They had in it season 6 but kinda threw it out the window after they made House crash a car into Cuddy’s home. Hate when writers ruin a character arc because they have a vendetta against the actor.

House was the only malignant narcissist in the bunch. If he's gone, it's not as entertaining. Just a medical show with altruistic, ethical doctors.

Yeah the others aren't interesting enough to have a show around them

I mean, Chase straight up murdered a patient. And had sex with a would be nun, who'd just been his patient a few hours earlier.

He also kissed a little girl on the lips (because she asked him to). But he's not a malignant narcissist, just a schmuck who makes mistakes.

no Hugh Laurie, no reason to exist

Why aren't there stories about Watson and Lestrade solving crimes post-Reichenbach? Because that's just not the interesting part.

House overstayed its welcome by the end of the run and the show would not function without House/Hugh Laurie

Yeah personally the show fizzled out for me when House was sent to a mental hospital. Seasons 7 and 8 had no reason to exist as well.

House was the special one, for reasons we all know. None of the other doctors' personalities and such warrants a new show; it would either turn out to be generic or an inferior shadow of the original show.

I wanted a sequel series where House and Wilson ran off to Key West, got married, and ran an AIDS hospice.

Would be tough considering Wilson’s cancer

They could just stop at the hospital in Miami on the way through. House would have that cancer cleared up in two episodes.

Every episode of House has them get the diagnosis wrong like 4 times before finding the answer. Wilson's cancer? Turned out to be gas, but they can't go back.

No, but you know what I would have liked to have seen? Two one off specials. One with the OG cast (Cuddy included) and of course those hired during S4 coming together at Wilson's funeral. Sine the show ended in 2012 this would have to have aired I'd say before 2017 due to relevancy and they could have flashed a title card indicating that this happened 6 months after House and Wilson rode off into the sunset.

The other special would have been and I believe it could even be done today is House finding 13 to fulfill his promise to her.
