Neither of them are just ‘sociopaths’ in the medical sense. It’s just a label and often used as a blanket term for people lacking empathy. While yeah they both -do- lack empathy in general guilt about things eats at both of them. They are not -without- empathy, they make themselves believe they’re in the right of things and whatever violence they do “has to happen” b/c of their whole mafia mentality.
