I saw some lukewarm reviews for The Peripheral when it first released, but the high rating on IMDB, plus Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan's involvement, convinced me to give it a go.
And fucking hell it's one of the best sci-fi series I've seen in a long time. Fuck knows what those reviewers were smoking.
The 16+ TV rating is what made me give the show a try. At least I knew it wouldn't be another milquetoast YA fiction.
Better Call Saul is on Netflix seasons 1-5. I think the last season you'd need AMC+ for, but that show is incredible. Enjoy.
Andor
I really hope Disney takes notes on how this show has been made. It’s damned near perfect.
Can I watch andor whenever or do I need to watch previous stuff to get caught up on the ‘lore’ if there is any
I would say it could be stand alone. Maybe watch Rogue One afterwards for fun.
Reservation Dogs, Derry Girls, Succession are a few I really enjoy.
First show in forever that had me literally on the edge of my seat.
At the end of the finale, I was so high on adrenaline I had to go outside and walk it off.
At the end of episode 7 my wife and I both yelled as loud as we can and hugged each other bouncing on the couch shouting no way no way no way!!
Also…HIS GLASSES
Atlanta
The last episode was so funny
'The Bear' on Hulu.
Try Stranger Things if you haven't already :)
Do you mean shows that are currently airing?
Shantaram on AppleTV+ is really good.
Bojack Horseman.
I just recently binged Ghosts (original BBC version) and I'm obsessed. It's so delightful.
The US version took some getting used to but its taken on a flavor its own -- wife and I watch it every week.
I’ve heard cabins of curiosities is pretty good on Netflix. The patient was good. The old man. If you have apple + See is very good

Spy x Family has been a lot of fun.
It’s old but we just finished House of Cards. It’s awesome.
Babylon Berlin, new season is nice.
Are you okay with subtitles? Are you open to something eclectic? Have you ever watched Lord of the Rings and thought "This needs more kung-fu puppets"?
If you said yes to all three, then try "Thunderbolt Fantasy" on Crunchyroll. Viewing order is Season 1, Movie 1, Season 2, Movie 2, Season 3.
NY PD Blue on Disney +
Hacks on HBOMax is a great show. New appreciation for Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder plays a great character as well.

The Peripheral on Amazon Prime. Hooks you right in the first episode.
