Buckle up folks, there are going to be cuts in every single industry as the recession waterfalls down. It's going to be rough

This situation is quite unique though because the license fee has been frozen but inflations gone up, so there’s no option but to make cuts. Other businesses are just raising prices.

companies are doing both though, they are cutting staff and raising prices. It's a horrible feedback loop as the more people lose jobs the worse the market will get, causing even more cost-cutting measures as nobody can afford high prices. BBC sees the writing on the wall - who's gonna keep paying for their tv license after their income stops?
Thanks to AI models it's gonna keep escalating too, fun stuff

So the tv license fee will be coming down right ?

I’m glad the BBC no longer has the reputation of showing too many repeats, but I would also like to see them scale back on the numerous opportunities for “ another chance to see” as well.

It’s been frozen but prices have gone up and there are less people paying for a tv licence as they cancel it to go to streaming services only

I mean I haven’t paid for it in 5 years, my comment was just being facetious
