Is it not good? I haven’t tried it yet.

I don't know. I don't like the premise or what I saw in the trailers so I didn't watch it.

I personally love and enjoy it! It's a great show.

I haven't checked it out yet but all the initial promos looks bad and looked like they were retconning alot things.

I will not stand for this! Supernatural is famous for its inflexible continuity.

excuse me but Supernatural's lore is rock solid for all 47 years it felt like it was on TV

63 years of perfectly crafted storytelling. Every episode seamlessly fit in with everything that came before it. Truly a work of unparalleled art!

She looks beautiful!

She was a beautiful addition to the show, her contribution was always enjoyable. That said I have no interest in this show. This is a story that doesn't need to be told and to tell it undoes essential parts of the show they violated with the ending episode of.

Should have just done a Men of Letters show or something else in-universe; The Winchesters seems like way too much of a retcon & unnecessary to all the shit that went down in the supernatural storyline…like how do you top any of that lol.

Nothing's gonna save that show unfortunately. The cast is pretty horrible and it's too big - it should be about John & Mary with the rest only guest starring.

Plus it's scripted and on the CW. Since the sale, it's just waiting for cancellation.

Or as she would call it, "The WEENchestors"

Even if it is good, the CW is cancelling all of their legacy content to become more reality show driven. Doubt this lasts beyond this season.

It's like Buffy but everybody is a mediocre actor/actress

supernatural still does really well on netflix
maybe that could help warner brothers with finding a way to keep a cheap show like this show going

For a show that started out as cave paintings it sure has aged well.

I think its an AU now

That’s actually part of the reason the CW got sold and all the shows are ending. The Netflix deal is over. All the CW shows were basically subsidised by Netflix now they’re all going to leave Netflix and Warner is just going to make stuff for HBO Max directly

No spoilers, but it seems like this isn't the same timeline as the original show.

The early episodes were rough but it smooths out somewhat. Some of the actors are amazing. The guy who plays Carlos better have a huge future ahead of him.
But, overall it doesn't so much much reference or put in easter eggs for SPN fans as it tightly follows formulas like the writers are stuck in a time loop. When they revealed that the 'new' big bad who definitely aren't demons can't posses you if you have a certain tattoo I cracked up. Also, if you are even older than, say, 30, it's obvious how often the show uses modern lingo and terms because they do not have a hold on doing a historical time period.
I want the show to do well, a lot of genre shows have a rough first season. But with the current state of the CW a renewal is very unlikely.

One of the few highlights of the later seasons of Supernatural but still not enough to get me to watch The Winchesters.
