I'm not someone who gets attached to many TV shows, but Happy Endings getting canceled absolutely crushed me. I legit remember being sophomore in college when I got the news and was so bummed. Genuinely one of the best ensemble comedies of the last 20 years and I really thought it had the potential to be the next Friends. Ever since then I've been rooting for Damon Wayans but his choices haven't been the best.

Damon Wayans will be always Michael Kyle in my eyes.

Seems like a fine enough sitcom premise. I like both of them, so I'd give it a chance. The CBS of it all is worrisome but Ghosts is good so you never know.

On another note it's weird that this post was downvoted. Seems like anything outside of redditcore shows has a hard time here which is sad.

Hoping it follows the adventures of Homey D. Clown and his son

> The potential series, which is produced in-house at CBS Studios, revolves around legendary talk radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” (Wayans) who has his point of view challenged at work when a new female co-host is hired and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son (Wayans Jr.), a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband.

Going for the Boomer knows best kind of show with the Xennial not having their act together. They are definitely go for the old CBS crowd.

How many other actors look just like their dads? I always think of that when I see them but I can't think of anyone else.

I swear it’s like looking into the past when I see him next to his kid. I mean duh, it’s his son.. but still. And they’re animated the same way when they act too. Hilarious fucking dudes, I’m sure the show will be funny.

You being serious? This sub hates sitcoms and most shows that are aimed at people who aren't men aged 15 through 40.

But the premise of this show sounds lame as hell and apparently Damon Wayans Sr is a piece of shit so the downvotes aren't as stupid as they normally are.

Unless of course you remember that downvotes are for content that is irrelevant and news posts about tv shows are never irrelevant in r/television.

When you’re a Wayans, you only do work with other Wayans.

I haven’t thought about the family in years. I took a look, and there’s like 20 of them now. We’re getting into like third generation Wayans. And they all only ever work with each other.
