Interested to hear everyone’s opinions as nobody ever agrees about these sorts of things. It’s always great to hear a variety of different opinions. A single example from me would be Breaking Bad. My favourite season is season 4 because I feel it has the best overarching storyline and antagonist of any of the seasons.
Season 4 is my favourite as well. I really love season 4 and season 1 probably has less stupid stuff overall but the ending to season 4 blew my mind.

While it's not my favorite show, Homeland S1 is one of the best seasons of any show period.
After that, show goes down in quality but Season 1 was incredible.
Harpers Island- the only season is my personal favorite!
