I'm looking at 24 seasons here with an average of two dozen episodes each. But we did sign up for a year free for Premium, so maybe that's why...?

You might be thinking of Law and Order SVU but Richard Belzer played Det. Munch on a show called Homicide as well.

What? You guys blew my mind! First of all, sorry I don't know and second of all, allright! I didn't know there was more Munch to be had. One of my fav characters on SVU, and now I can go find me some more Munch.

Homicide was an amazing show. Much better than the SVU shows. Definitely the second best Baltimore cop show.

I'm getting Season 1 Episode 1 ready (DVD res) to have a look. Thanks!

Yeah, his presence in Law and Order is just as a very extended crossover. He was invented for Homicide and is in 100+ episodes of it.

He actually shows up in a bunch of different shows like the X-Files and Arrested Development. Kinda his gimmick.

He crossed onto the original law & order first while still on homicide. He did four episodes on that. He also played munch on episodes of the x files and the wire!

They are talking about Homicide: Life on the Street. It was Munch’s first show before he moved from Baltimore to New York.
