By exploiting both it's own people, effectively enslaving them to siphon money from the west through it's greedy corporations all too willing to turn a blind eye for even more obscenely high profits.

Then again I suppose most everyday citizens don't give enough of a damn to forego buying the latest iphone just because it has the blood of innocent chinese workers who killed themselves rather than continue to face the working conditions of their factory on it. Can't only blame the companies.

Consumers are just as much to blame. Americans love their apple products and as long as they demand them, a supply will follow basic economics.
