And where does Netflix differentiate between the two on their website? All I see is I pay for 4 screens. Like akaBugWurm said, if I pay for 4 screens, what’s it matter where those screens are?

Personally I think we should be able to use it wherever we are but unfortunately we all agreed to a terms of service agreement when signing up.

Also, can you watch Netflix on your phone on the bus? Different IP. That would not be allowed if what you're saying is true

They’ll be able to tell by the IP history of the account. All phones have a serial number/mac address/something to identify it from others.

How is that wrong if that’s how they can tell the difference? I’m just stating how it works haha. I run a plex server and I can see basically the same thing.
