Despite what your strawman suggests it's not a "take" it's a solution to the problem that these news companies are claiming to have.

These news companies are more than welcome to make these changes and watch the "theft" by google and facebook disappear.

I'm not a libertarian.
If news companies are so concerned with "theft" by facebook, and google, the tools are already there for them to stop the theft.
The answer to the "theft" isn't mandating payments for links.
