Yeah, I’ve been seeing some random ass birthdays in my calendar and for the life of me had no idea who they were.
At least I’m not crazy.

I have seen this on my Google calendar, and I really do not use that calendar much. This option is also on Outlook, but I have never had the same problem.

Could it be that spam email is creating these events? I had this issue a few years ago and turned the auto creation of events from emails.

No, they come from email addresses that Gmail thinks you've somehow interacted with. Thank goodness they've easy enough to turn off.

Oh good. Can't remember any of them but they were bogus entries I didn't remember putting in.

I was wondering where all of that shit came from. Had to block google from my calendar in permissions

It happened to be earlier. I have been trying to be better about being organized and just make an effort to not forget about things. This totally happened to me as well, I felt crazy for a second and questioned life and questioned this and where it came from. I read the article and saw the fix, and well I’m glad it’s not just me!

There is/was an issue with Google chat that would hyperlinks random words or letters. The links wouldn't ever "work." Their response was to make sure your device wasn't infected... I'm starting to wonder if Google is the one being infected lol

I was trying to make a joke about how Google has access to the microphone 100% of the time. Failed miserably
