Considering the geo political tensions the USA is making, the best thing they can do is create a sister plant for production of these new chips to mainland USA, otherwise it may be a moot point now that China is pushing for a faster and earlier reunification with Taiwan well before the original 2050 deadline. Can't say I have a good feeling about Taiwan's future, hope for the best but expect the worst, as they say.
