Only the beginning. All of these companies who were printing money in 2021 and overhiring in the process are now coming back down to reality.

To be clear: HP has been shedding 1-2k people annually for years. This 6k employees will be spread over three years and will be spread across the globe. Not to downplay the global economic situation, but many of these layoffs were planned and timed to minimally impact stock.
