Its probably apportioned to the average cost to run a load of laundry - which by all accounts seems accurate in this case

I used to recieve a laundry allowance of $500 a year in an old job

Most places just use a uniform service that includes laundry.

Oddly, for the jobs I've had it was the small mom & pop pub that used a uniform service with laundry and not McHell. At McHell you had to wash your own uniform, which resulted in someone calling in because their mom put their uniform in the wash.

Yeah I provide polos to my employees from CINTAS. They have to wash them though. We aren’t customer facing so not wearing it isn’t a big deal. It just avoids drama from people wearing dumb shirts with political messages.
