Steve Jobs said what he wanted to be remembered for most wasn't the Apple II, Macintosh, iPod, iPhone, iPad, or Apple Retail Stores, but Apple itself. He didn't want it to become what Disney or HP became after their founders' deaths.

Looking pretty clear he succeeded.
