i run linux on my all amd gaming desktop, flawless experience with proton, I wouldn’t have it any other way… but my laptop with a 3070 desperately needs Windows to run at its best potential (thanks nvidia)

I switched to Zorin OS for the first time last year and it was flawless for the games I played as well. No problems with proton, some games even run native. As I became more familiar I installed Ubuntu 22.04 last month and it is even better. Many of the bugs of 20.04 are fixed. It's good to have updates that don't focus on spying on you even more but actually fix your problems. Tho the Zorin UI imo is way more convenient.

Not that easy for everyone. Especially dual gpu laptops, which I’m guessing this person has. My laptop has integrated graphics and an nvidia card, and the graphics switching even with restarts works very poorly. Just a bunch of ACPI errors on boot. I stick to integrated instead, which I don’t care about because I don’t really game on a laptop.
I would appreciate suggestions for fixes, but I’ve had this laptop more than five years and tried every fix I could for the stupid nvidia gtx 940m
