They are also very strict about charging overpeiced prices on light bulbs on move out. Make sure you replace any dead lights and take pictures because they still tried to charge me for lights when I left new bulbs in the loft.

I have some friends who live in the lofts and they enjoy it. Never really heard them complain about anything. I toured recently and the staff seemed nice and knowledgeable as well.

Overall I really liked renting from them. They were more affordable than the other options at the time. Units were well maintained however our last few months there were horrible because they could not get out next door neighbors to stop blaring music. Even with multiple complaints and police contacts. Depending on the location you want to rent it can be pretty quiet or a party row. I lived in the lofts upstairs at union biscuit and had no problems but the ground floor was where a lot of parties would happen and the leasing office never enforced loud music at 2am being shut off. Even though they couldn’t get our neighbors under control they wouldn’t let us out of the lease early. Other thing to note is they prelease far in advance so if I had to reup my lease for the following year pretty quickly after moving in. Other than that, very cute well maintained apartments. Id just suggest talking to the office about what area of the apartments are quieter or more of a party depending on what you’re looking for.

In the event that those lofts don’t work out for you, I would avoid anything managed by Brian Properties like the plague. Seriously the most incompetent building managers you could imagine. Honestly don’t know where I’d start explaining but they got released from managing the building I currently live in and it is a NIGHT AND DAY difference.
