in search of a warehouse/basement for a fashion show

i run a small clothing brand here in town and i have shows here and there. don’t mind hosting at the local venues but really want to portray a certain vibe with my shows and i’m looking for something run down and beat up for an “underground rave” typa vibe.

obviously pay is involved, i only need one night and i’d clean everything up etc etc.

Or ask a Commerial Realtor if they have any clients that are able to rent out their warehouse for a night. The owners are making zero money with it sitting vacant or up for sale and they might be willing to allow a night's rental or maybe even a few days so that you can set up, tear down, and clean up.

pythian could be sick actually, also i have called a few realtors. people that do have spaces are stingy af about it 😂 like, its just collecting dust lemme use it!

I don't know if you have seen the basement at the pythian castle but it was used during WWII to house prisoners of war.

i have not! i did just check their ballroom rates and they are really expensive which given it is a historical caste but that might be too much 😅

is the basement where they have the ghost stuff?

I would guess that the basement would be less expensive. The entire castle is haunted but the areas of the basement would be just what you are looking for, at least I think it is the vibe you want.

Eh, just do a legit underground event in the Jordan Creek tunnel. I went to a BBQ there years back and it was a good time, it definitely had that “insiders only” sort of feel to it
