I lived in Oregon county for more than 50 years, my family moved there when I was a kid. I am not LGBTQ but in my experience you would be lucky to find anyone there that would refrain from spitting when they even heard the term. You will need to widen your search. Maybe Springfield, St. Louis, Little Rock, etc. a bigger city. Good luck to you.

Been looking on and off for a few years and haven’t had great luck. I even reached out to the GLO Center multiple times but never heard back. If I come across anything, I’ll be sure to come back.

I know it's slim pickings. Friends have had good luck with therapists online if you're comfortable doing it over the computer. So I would keep that as an option to avoid a long drive.

The counselors at The Porch in West Plains are great. Ask for Mr. Erin Rigdon, Ms. Dana Fleming or Ms. Audrey Thomas for kids. There are other therapists in the group who are also good.

Are you sure you have the right Springfield? There is no Howell St. or Oregon St. in Springfield, Missouri.

EDIT: I'm finding an electric coop by that name in West Plains? That's nowhere near Springfield though....

The subreddit is for the whole 417 area aswell as Springfield, the Howell/Oregon is referring to the two Counties in South-Central Missouri

Okay, I Googled those counties, and apparently it is the West Plains area. I got nothing. That's over 100 miles from Springfield.
