Yes, it’s still there. But it’s also just a regular neighborhood and the neighbors get frustrated when people play tourist (can’t blame them). Keep that in mind if you go, it’s easy enough to find the address though.

ETA: it’s also a private residence of someone now, from what I can tell. Probably best to skip it.

You might also check out the Gilloiz theater. I don't know of any homicides but one of the projectionists died during a midnight movie showing and his spirit is said to haunt the theater.

And the theater has been restored and is just really lovely even without the death but the death and ghost story is kind of cool.

I just thought of this one. The George Revelle murder in Fremont Hills. Old George was actually exonerated but ya know. He was the mayor of Fremont Hills and president or some big muckity muck at a bank (can't remember exactly). I don't even know if the house is still there but it was a pretty notorious murder for Springfield.
