I can’t imagine how bad the traffic is gonna be since they will only have the drive thru open at first.

As someone who lives in Republic, traffic will wrap around the building. The location is not the best for traffic. It will be busy as long as they are opened for at least 1 straight month.

24hrs a day. So hopefully people will get it out of their system faster. Hopefully.
I drive this way to work.

They won’t lol. People here flock to anything new.

Can you blame them? We've really not got too much happening here. Especially in republic.

WTF? I left Texas for several reasons, Whataburger being one!

Well, not since Andy's and Popeye's opened, anyway.

Especially since they haven't completed the through street to Macadoodles yet, so there's only one way in or out, which is already compounded by Andy's and Popeye's.

Hey now, as someone who was born and raised here but has visited Texas several times, I can firmly agree with you. Whataburger isn’t terrible but it’s nothing special by any means. This is not all that exciting and I’ll only stop in if it’s not out of my way.

Nah, they'll just bitch about it on the "getting to know republic mo" fb page but still keep going

In small ass West Plains, when they opened Steak and Shake the wait was over 2 hours, and people stayed in line.
I have had steak and shake for years, the menu didn’t change. You’re right, it’s going to be absolutely nuts,

I love me some whataburger. I can’t wait for it to die down so I can go and eat. Probably gonna have to take back roads until the one in Ozark opens up. It’s weird how bad this area is about flocking to new chains in the area. Andy’s and Popeyes are in Springfield and still were silly when they opened in Republic

I’ve travelled a lot…it’s not great but locally loved in TX. I would argue Jack in the Box is better.
I’ve gathered they have a hatch burger which I would try…but beyond a couple times a year I’m not going there…

Living right at the intersection of Andy's, Wendy's, Popeyes, and Whataburger, it's been very smooth so far
