Most jobs don't let you set your own schedule... Maybe try Uber or Lyft or door dash one of those things, that way you can make your own schedule.

I could be wrong, but I thought I saw fast food places with signs up saying you can make your own hours... Or am I dreaming?

Here's an idea. Get a job and work the hours your employer sets for you.

That's actually horrible advice. Employers rather have a candidate be fully transparent with their availability. Just accepting any old job and hoping it'll later work out is what leads to wasted time and resources.

Employees should seek jobs that fit their personal and family schedules so it leads to long-term employment which benefits both the employer and employee.

I would imagine most restaurants right now would take the help for the dinner rush as a line cook, bartender, or even doing dishes. Other than that stores at the mall close by 9 (most workers gone by 9:30, 10ish at the latest) and many of them are hiring although some might just be seasonal.

GSB Arena and their food vendor might be hiring for basketball season, and most of their games are after 5 and let out by 8 or 9pm but it’s not very consistent. Hammons Field might be another option in the spring for baseball games doing similar work.

I’d also check out some temp agencies and the school district for various part time janitorial work as some other mentioned.

Good luck!

I used to work with Champion cleaning and my shifts were on a very similar schedule. Easy job to do especially if you’re more detail oriented. If you’re interested I can send some more information.

I worked at Autozone for 8 years. They had a lot of part time shifts that went from 5-9pm. Been gone for two years but I doubt the scheduling has changed much.

Pizza delivery places have this shift and are pretty easy/fun jobs.

When I was in college I had a shift like this at bass pro.

YOU are exactly what is wrong with today's workforce and society in general. You expect the world to revolve around your schedule. Please grow up and stop that.

YES! Exactly. You're soooo close to getting IT. Your job should fit into your life...not be your entire life. For example, look at you. Who wants to be this miserable?

I bet you hate unions huh 😆

Do you have the slightest idea who said this? “And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.”

Kind of fits what I'm trying to say. For some reason you have a problem with this way of thinking.
