Any place in this town that has affordable guitar lessons and if so how much do they cost? Thinking of trying to learn a new skill and learning guitar (specifically acoustic) seems like it would be a good one to have

I've been wondering this too. Started playing about 3 months ago. There are an incredible amount of resources online for guitar players to tide you over while you search. Justin Guitar on YouTube. Some great music theory groups on Facebook. Lots of apps and YouTube channels in general, it's surprisingly accessible.

I second this. YouTube has some great lessons. I'd also add that I've made a lot of progress with Fenderplay online lessons. They have a free week trial and I think it was 40 dollars for a year after that. The structure helped me. I'd love to find some in person lessons somewhere too.

Guitar center is selling packages. I want to say it was like 3 lessons for 70 bucks…

Ernie Williamson Music has great teachers. Plus you can do in person or remote, for those times when you can't make it in (handy when we have winter weather).
