I spend a decent amount of time on i44 and I see angry drivers swerving, honking, flashing lights, tailgating. I’ve passed so many lethal accidents on the road in the last few years and I can only hope it wasn’t because of someone’s mismanaged anger.

Getting there “quicker” is raising your chances of not making it at all. Hope your 3 minute earlier arrival time was worth risking your life and others.

Everytime I get on I44 I remember that years ago I wanted to have a t-shirt made that says "I hate I44". Was almost in that 60+ pile up a few winters ago. Missed it by a few minutes. I don't drive that road if I can help it.
