Looking for a reputable electrician for diagnosis of a possible electrical problem.  No power to my thermostat and when I walk through my house, lights are going on and off some flickering, but the breakers are not thrown.  If you know of anyone or a decent company that can come before the weekend. Let me know please.

Change your bulbs and batteries in your stat. Could be loose wires too. Use an hourly rate company and avoid mr. Electric. They are 4 to 8 times the cost of a fair priced electrician. I have seen their bids.

This creeped me out a little 😅

I'm sitting at the south Campbell library playing phone games and get summoned to work. The mighty power of the internet. And also I hope nobody recognizes me in public 😅

Sorry. My brain hangs on to a lot of little pieces of info. Plus, I think you are a valuable important part of the Reddit community.

Oh wow, I didn't think anyone anyone knew who I was. Pretty sure the last time I was active in this sub was related to voting stuff in early November.

Anytime I see something about the homeless in Springfield I like to sometimes give my opinion because I am homeless here.

We chatted about something, I forget what, but it wasn't political, I can't handle talking politics online.

A+ Circuit came to us highly recommended last year, and we've used them a few times. Very happy with their work.

+2 for A+. Franco is honest and his people are good. Gave a Ukrainian friend of mine a job.

Oh wow, I'm not sure about the thermostat because I think that's something exclusive to hvac. I don't even run the power to it when we rough in new constructions. It just appears magically 🔮

My mentor would probably understand your problem

I will dm you. We work Mondays-Friday 8 AM to ~3:30

Likely a loose connection in one of the switches or light fixtures. A lot of older houses in this area have a general lighting circuit and the furnace pilot/blower will be tapped off of it. Thermostat will go down if the transformer on the furnace goes out.

I wanted to say that too but thought it might confuse them for me to speculate.

And wow I always put the furnace and appliances on their own circuit. Fridge circuit for the fridge. Furnace for the furnace. Stove for the stove. Tying the lights into that breaker? Why? Is it possible to daisy chain with different types of wire? Or am I just imagining something weird. The furnace would be 12-2 but we run lights in 14-2 or 14-3. Do they put them pn the same breaker at the panel or literally run a wire from the furnace to the switch??? Like furnace home run, carrier to the switch, 3 wires in the first switch receptacle (power, carrier, switch leg)?

Sorry got a tooth extracted and I'm pretty mentally exhausted
