Things to do in Springfield? Good ways to make friends here?

I (22F) just moved here all the way from Montana with my boyfriend (26M). My boyfriend has gotten the chance to make some friends already, but I have been completely by myself. I usually do have a hard time making friends, I have some social anxiety and i’m pretty shy, but willing to try and get through that to make some friends. That, and we are both trying to find some fun things to do around here. Anyone have some suggestions?

Hey hi! It depends on your interests. What kind of things are you into, what hobbies do you have? That's always a good starting point for finding the things to do that People Youd Vibe With are also doing. Also, if you havent yet I recommend joining the local discord server! It's linked on the reddit.

The discord server. There's meetups pretty regularly and it's not just going to get food or playing pickleball. There's about 1000 people on it and usually something to talk about.
