UPDATE: Tito has been found!

Please keep an eye out for this little dog. He belonged to her mother who passed away earlier this year. I’ve been driving around looking, but every set of eyes helps. Please DM me with any sightings. Thanks for any help you can give!

There’s a lot of irresponsible dog owners but they seem to be trying everything they can. Sometimes you can do everything right and your pet still gets out. I don’t think it’s productive or helpful to comment that. OP and the owner probably feel horrible enough as it is.

She did. She’s definitely checked all the boxes that she can. It’s been complicated by the fact that she’s out of town for the holiday and the dog was left with an elderly neighbor to dog sit. Apparently Tito was a little quick on the escape artist routine.

I know you said she checked all of the boxes, but making sure it's been posted in both FB groups Springfield Lost & Found and Leigh's Lost and Found.

Both of those groups are amazing.

Hello! I tried to message you directly but it didn't let me. I'm almost 95% certain I saw this dog as I was heading south on National yesterday morning at around 9:00 AM. I'd just passed the National and Grand intersection and he was out front of the first house on the corner near the entrance to the MSU parking lot. The address of the house in question is 1101 S National. I'm not certain he'd still be around the area but I hope that can narrow his direction of movement down a bit.

I wish I would have stopped but it didn't really strike me as odd until I was already across town. Best of luck finding him!
